Using rust activated paint, this mixed media piece of a lighthouse was done as an experiment to juxtapose the temporary with the permanent. The impression of lighthouse being one of solidity, endurance, strength, set against the very action of the salty air with it's power to corrode and reduce even the strongest structures.
