Before the dunes swept began their relentless march, these stairs stood proud over one of the most wild and beautiful beaches I have ever visited. Bleached and battered by the sun and sea and spray and sand - filled with character. This is why I decided to make a drawing of them, their permanence in stark contrast to the shifting sands of time. Not unlike God's Word.
