charcoal fabriano paper, 70cm x 100cm
One of my favourite living poets is David Whyte, and in a section of verse he wrote this, 'what shape awaits in the seed of you to grow and spread its branches against a future sky?' This drawing is an expression of our incredible potential for fruitfulness. And also a commentary on the quality of our thought life -realizing that we can sow seeds of hope or despair depending on our particular worldview or beliefs.
